Together we laughed, felt, danced and kept quiet. Together we created and experienced a strong sense of community.
All of this took place in the heart of Berlin, at Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus. We were delighted with the positive feedback and are motivated to work on further formats..
With Sophia Kaschinski, we offer yoga sessions in a quiet, undisturbed environment. Participants can come to rest in the middle of the KulturKaufhaus, between the book shelves, and recharge their batteries together. The laughter yoga sessions with Anne Rauch from the „Hauptstadt lacht“ initiative, which took place in the middle of the business department and the otherwise less emotional law department, were particularly well received.
Our Schnackbänke invite you to linger and chat. Young people in particular take advantage of the opportunity to ask each other questions using the interview cards provided. One date even arranged to meet specifically on our snack benches.
Now we would like to look back on our summer campaign and present you with our aftermovie, which captures the best moments. But at Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus there is not only a lot going on in summer – we are much more than just a „bookshop“. We are a place where culture comes alive

Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus is a place where you can experience culture in all its facets. Here you will find like-minded people and can develop in a safe space. Our diverse events and activities offer experiences that go far beyond reading a book. Here you can exchange ideas, be inspired and grow together.
With our events and activities, we want to promote togetherness and create a community in which everyone should feel welcome and understood. Our focus is on participation and shared experiences: we are a place of encounter and exchange.
The „summer of togetherness“ may be over, but we keep things lively all year round. Whether it's readings, workshops, concerts or LIVE events at our Kulturbühne – there's always something going on. Visit us and experience culture in its most beautiful form.
