Was sind Kriegsgenerationen?
In der Militärgeschichte bezieht sich der Begriff Kriegsgenerationen auf das Konzept von fünf Generationen in der Kriegsführung, wobei jede Generation über unterschiedliche Taktiken, Strategien und Technologien verfügt. Die Kriegsgenerationen werden manchmal als 4GW oder 5GW bezeichnet. Der Begriff entstand 1989, um das sich im Laufe der Zeit verändernde Gesicht des Krieges zu beschreiben.
