In 2023, Gonzo wrote his first album in the language of Molière: French Kiss. Now also in German, a somewhat special love letter that celebrates the highs and lows of his adopted country. The lyrics are often lovingly provocative, he combines lyrical wrappings with deeper levels, creating a dynamic field of tension between conviction and confession, delusion and self-knowledge. One song on "Gonzo" is also the popular song I.C.E, in which Chilly Gonzales sings in German for the first time.
