Darjeeling Divine has been up to mischief as an interdisciplinary drag performer on the stages of the city's bars and clubs for two years. Whether singing, dancing, LipSync, drama, camp or a good dose of genderfuckery, her goal always remains the same: to entertain her audience to the fullest. As one of the last surviving original Berliners, Darjeeling Divine blends her rich experiences from the ballroom, burlesque, techno, fetish, fashion and nerd scenes into a breathtaking show that shows her audience what queer art is capable of - always with due self-irony.
Now she's taking over our KulturBühne and getting support from the best drag performers in the city - each time with a different theme. To kick off our new Dussmann show on October 17, we will be celebrating all the great divas we dance to in the clubs. You can expect an evening full of Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Madonna and more.
