The leaky gut syndrome has been linked to high sugar, refined carbohydrates, low fibre high omega fatty acids diet. The colonic actinidic archaeal growth is increased. The actinidic archaea oxidise cholesterol for its energetics. They contain actinide-dependent cholesterol oxidases. The colonic actinidic archaea destroy the cholesterol phospholipid intestinal membrane and produces the leaky gut syndrome. The actinidic archaea enters the system and becomes endosymbiotic.
