There are various research methods to generate knowledge that contribute to specialized studies with gender perspectives, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, data collection and analysis techniques, as well as strategic collaborations with academic and expert institutions. The method used for this research is based on a critical review of specialized working documents on gender perspective. This information is complemented with a semi-structured interview addressed to experts in structuring and management issues of specialized study centers in order to know the perception and opinion of highly specialized people on the topics corresponding to this research. Thus, the creation of a Center for Gender Equity Studies in the Querétaro local congress will make an important contribution to the legislative work agenda and promote gender equity within the Mexican legislative framework. Through its evidence-based research and advocacy, the Center will contribute to legislative advances and policy changes that aim to address gender disparities, discrimination, and advance women's rights.
