The Impact On China Of A Future War
PaperbackPaperback

Product description

There is a need for the United States to move the debate over the challenge China presents us beyond the dispositions of the attention grabbing advocates: the rationalizers who explain Chinese actions in benign terms with their own political or academic motives, or the denigrators, who are "The Chinese Are Coming" school-to wit: China is belligerent, a threat, in short, a monster. A classic I ran across on my neverending to-read pile and finished within a few hours. The simple writing style made it enjoyable and easy to read, even if it was first published in 1900 and the language is somewhat rigid. It becoming a classic is well deserved - though I must say I'm not interested in the volumes that follow after this first one.
